You think too much!

Sometimes I think too much but the good thing about it is is that i know what to say and when to say what i am thinking,so perhaps "some things are better left unsaid" but on the other hand, if only i'd said certain things that could possibly have changed my or someone elses world even just a tad. Often happens in fashion.

Ever thought about wearing something you really thought was an awsome ensemble but at the last minute on leaving the house you change your mind and your outfit? happens to me gazillion times and you know what the bad thing about that is is that i just passed on another opportunity to give the world a taste of my individual style and inspire others to do the same. So perhaps in this case, all things are better said (and done) in the couture world coz it never goes unseen or heard coz if you haven't seen it you'll sure hear about it...

Fashion-wise, I'm starting to come outta my shell a lil bit. I think my biggest problem before this lil emancipation was about caring what others think about what i do and what i wear. Fashion should not be about others, it's an extension of your individuality, creativity, style and without a doubt, your personality-what makes you YOU, not what makes you WHo according to others.

Contentment and Randomness

It's raining out; perfect day to get all warm and fuzzy, but instead i am out in the city accompanied by grey clouds and streets covered in glossy black. Usually I frown upon a day like this but ever since my heart got broken some time ago, I anticipated such a day because perhaps the way i was feeling at the time resembled this wheather and all I wanted to do was be locked away in my room, under covers, listening to the raindrops falling on my window. Needless to say, my heart has been pieced back together again and it seems that the love for cold, rainy days has stuck with me ever since. The only difference is that I am out embracing the cold rather than hibernating in sad solitude waitng for the sun to shine...

I've been very inspired by so much around me these past few days. Being an artist is not always pridy pictures (the result thereof is yeah) but whatever you put to paper starts somewhere. Where you might ask?? well, it starts through your eyes, missions up to your head and oozes down to your heart OR it could happen the other way around. i think my inspiration has emerged much from a lot of random thought. I would sit alone in my room and just day dream and pretend that i am at where i wish i could be. i've also been checking out other bloggers and getting very fashionably inspired. You should really check out the The Sartorialist, and not just because his images are visually stimulating but it gives one a sense of relation to the fashion in those pictures from all over the world. utter wow!! Here are some pics from the Sartorialist that i found interesting mostly, ofcourse because of the fashion, and the effortless style by ordinary people snapped up in every day life.

Been playing with a few designs, check it out:

Tan and denim has become my new love, so has crisp white and over-sized whatever. When clothes are too tight i complain and vice versa but now a days i am not compalining, i am absolutely loving oversized anything. Been rumaging through dad's stuff in the hope of finding the perfect shirt (dress)!! Dad's size XXL by the way. lol, isn't that just so appropriate?

Some designs i have been working on...oh and i have decided to call my designs "Imagine"

From skin-tight jeggings to my boyfriends jeans

It's an endless love affair...

I have always had a love/hate relationship with things. It's weird really. I could go from love love loving something to hate hate hating it and vice versa...but ofcourse there are some things i love to hate and I'll probably never change my mind about like MILK. eeuw. But in the contrary I love white things.

I love,

Mrs.Cardigan...

...and Mr.Brogue

WRAP ME AROUND A THOUSAND TIMES

LET'S GO TO THE ZOO...

I am on the lookout for a black leather mini. Think I'll pair it with ripped stockings and grungy ankle boots and one of my old-skool shirts. But I'll leave that to another day when i'm feeling a bit eery (hehehe). Just a thought

It's winter, my least favorite time of the year, when calories become your friend because for some bizarre reason we eat more when we're colder and it doesn't hit us at the time till summer comes...Anyway, often I've found that I allow myself to see winter as a miserable season rather than finding a way to make it a more exciting one and so it hit me, why not use Winter as a platform to explore with fashion? i got to thinking about colours, textures, layering and and and.

Winter x JUMPER = warmth. Long=length or cropped, i am loving the jumper this season. i teamed my long length jumper with plumb stirrup leggings and my studded shoes. Simple but it worked.

leather bomber (a statement on its own) and cream jeans (takes me back to mom's days)

boyfriend jeans...no more borrowing your bff's clothes, instead, head over to your bf's closet(or dad's or gramps for that matter)

Typical of my personality i love mixing tall and small, bitter and sweet (you get the idea)and something else that's had me turning a blind eye but catching my eye at the same time are socks worn with sandals (preferably heels). Sounds strange but interesting but that's the idea. So you're pondering: is it a do or a don't? i don't really care, i love it and I'm thinking about trying it.
